I had the privilege to work with Lawrence for a number of years, and his dedication to his students was second to none. He was a pillar of quiet calm, understanding and support to the sometimes difficult members of the Health and Social Care course. The tractor-driving, bee-keeping, fesitival-going gardeners of the world have lost a key player and he will be greatly missed.
